Göte Augustsson. Vases, Ruda Glasbruk, 1960s. Cast green-tinted glass with relief pattern. Used-good condition.
Stunning art glass vases from Ruda Glasbruk, Sweden, designed by Gote Augustsson. Circa 1960-1970, typical of the period, with bark-textured exteriors and printed shapes. They are in the Brutalist style, with irregular shapes and a Scandinavian mid-century modern feel. One is rectangular, the other cylindrical. Both are a deep forest green.
Both vases are made of thick, solid art glass.
