1. Shipping
We send objects within three business days after the order has been placed. In the case the payment is made via bank deposit, we ship three business days after we have received the full payment.
Shipping prices are calculated at Checkout and always paid by the customer, with prices varying depending on the delivery location, and the size and weight of the product(s) ordered. Standard shipping time for domestic orders is 2-5 business days. Standard shipping time for international orders vary by destination and size of object, however the customer should expect up to two weeks from the next coming shipping day. Please note that for extra heavy and big objects, delivery times might be longer. During holidays such as Christmas or any other holidays, the time for delivery might also be longer.
We supply the shipping tracking details for each order or any other available information. We gladly answer all questions about delivery status and will make sure you feel as comfortable as possible during the time the order is on its way to you.
We assume full responsibility that the item(s) are in their described condition when they reach you. This responsibility holds until the object is delivered by the shipping company. If the item(s) have been damaged during transport, we urge the customer to point this out directly to the shipping firm and also notify us immediately.
If the time of delivery should exceed more than thirty (30) days for domestic orders the customer has the right to cancel their purchase. All cancelations of orders shall be sent through our Contact Form or at info@swedishnordicdesign.com.
For international orders the we ensure a maximum time of delivery of 45 days not including customs procedures. The customer is responsible for all fees associated with customs clearance in their country of destination (taxes, duty, customs charges etc.), and thereby also for any wait caused by a delay in customs processing. This applies for all orders outside of Sweden.
2. Force Majeure
If the shipping is delayed because of unforeseen events outside the company’s control, such as natural disasters, strike, or other occurrences falling under “Force Majeure”, we do not take responsibility for potential consequences or shipping delays. We will however try and aid you to the best of our ability in this unlikely event.
