Our Story
Where Design Meets Meaning
My name is Margui and I’m at the front of Swedish Nordic Design. I’ve always been passionate about creating unique spaces; places that reflect a wealth of personality and that make people feel at home. I founded Swedish Nordic Design in 2025, after many years that my family and I became collectors and after gaining experience in interior design and decoration. We are experts in finding each piece, knowing who it belongs to and the history of each one.
I believe that an exceptional home brings together three essential concepts: a concept that encompasses creativity and functionality, another one that is the spatial perception, which indicates how a place feels to the person, and finally, attention to detail.
For me, who lives in Sweden, Nordic design with its rich, minimalist yet beautiful heritage, offers a timeless aesthetic that embodies those concepts. It is that combination that I strive to offer you through my carefully and carefully chosen pieces. Because the right vintage pieces not only make a home beautiful, but also enrich it with their history and provenance, giving it character. Join us on this journey and experience the unique combination of tradition and functionality that defines Swedish and Nordic design.
However, since I’m a fan of functional design, there are timeless designers from other parts of Europe who I love and who follow that line. Therefore, we’ll occasionally see one of them with some of their pieces here. My page brings together functional, timeless, vintage and unique pieces with value and character.
I’m in love with that design that broke the rules and became playful. That design that mixed colors, shapes, and materials. All of that is what those fantastic designers of the mid-20th century did; many left their mark and wrote their own rules, drawing inspiration for their designs from nature itself.
From the heart of Småland itself, I’m here to show you the finds I’ve selected. Most of them are Swedish works, furniture, and designs, but also Finnish and Danish. However, as a lover of beauty, I’ve found some items from other parts of Europe and the world that are very much in line with my tastes and closely aligned with the Nordic style.

We were inspired by precisely classifying objects that were made in the past but thought by designers to exist in the present. All maintain the balance offered by nature: Beautiful chandeliers that invite spaces to maintain a soft, warm light in moments of darkness. Noble and natural materials for furniture that were made with great style, in woods such as birch, walnut, pine, and oak.mahoganyand maple. Lamps with styles and designs featuring lines and curves from the golden age of Swedish design, renowned for their quality. And of course, Nordic glass and ceramics, which we cannot forget, boasting a beauty that connects with nature through their shapes and colors.
